uni starts today and i dont like it :(
taken during whale watching last week with wilson’s pro camera. the whale came really close; just beside the boat and we all could see it very clearly through the clear water which was quite cool. definitely got my $69 worth of whale watching hahaha
i’ve switched to the mac side. not a very exciting buy because after i gt my purchase, i carried this $1000 white suitcase like box, walking ard the city until i’ve finished combing every clothing shop. i didnt really dare to try on stuff or go to the toilet, just in case i leave w/o the box. came back; de-box; recharge; setup; and ready to use. but seriosuly, im like mehhh, its just a piece of technology which im not very interested in. i got it because my old hp laptop is old and might die on me anytime, and i just hope this new mac can last me forever & ever so it will become the least of my concern which also reminds me of why i got the iphone, because i wanted to whatsapps to keep in contact with friends & GOOGLE MAPS instead of the games etc. wonder what the rest of you girls think about technology…..
anyway got allocated to my 1st choice for the honours project :DD probbaly the best thing that has happened in my academic year 2011 so far. sem 1 results were not the best i’ve expected but doesnt bother me much now that im 3rd year and i just want to enjoy the rest of my 1.5 years of study!!! funny that tumblr has become a blog for me, rather than reblog photos of others
went whale watching; will post photos soon. it was so cool, much much better than i thought cos the whales came so close to the boat and they are HUGE.

back from alice springs!
some introduction to alice springs: its right smack in the central part of australia and its basically the shooting location for the movie AUSTRALIA if you recall. it is a desert so it is very hot in the day & cold in the night and yup, lots of mountains, rocks, sand, plants!
went for camel riding on the first day to watch the sunset. sat between their humps HAHA but its not bumpy at all, the camels were well trained and tamed, but they pass urine & faeces alot and too frequently like twice in an hour?? apparently they supposedly urine on their legs so upon evaporation, it will cool them. and they weigh ~500-700kg & are able to carry the same amount of load on them for 12hours, explaining why they are used to transport goods in the olden days.

got a scare on wed, my dear laptop went on a strike and cant be switch on. and my neuro cases were there, and the copy in my thumbdrive wasnt the most updated one. thankfully, it worked again and i got everything transferred to the hardrive. seriosuly, if i were to lose my neuro cases (50% weighting) i’ll just give up.
work :((((

chocolate is aphrodisiac to women like oysters is to men. possibly why girls grin widely and laugh themselves silly after a dose of chocolate, leaving them craving for more haha
a stroll from milton to paddington after a really delicious brunch and a crazy wk in uni. 2 more wks to 2 wks of exams to alice springs!
